Meet the artists for this year’s Mac and Cheese Festival Grand Finale Event!

DJ Ty Mercer

Ty Mercer is a rhythm-minded DJ with a background in percussion and a deep love for all kinds of music. His sets are warm, fluid, and always tuned into the energy of the space—designed to create a relaxed, uplifting atmosphere without demanding too much attention.

Drawing from a wide range of genres, Ty blends familiar sounds with subtle surprises, building a vibe that’s easy to settle into. Whether it’s a sunny afternoon or a slow-building evening, he knows how to keep things moving at just the right pace.

Music that feels good, flows naturally, and fits the moment—that’s what Ty brings to every set.

Ty will be spinning tracks and setting the good vibes from 11:00AM until 1:30PM on April 26th at the Quaker Park!

Jeanne Truax

Jeanne Truax will steal your heart when she steps on stage. Inspired by the contemporary sounds of The Beatles, Wanda Jackson and Brenda Lee, Jeanne’s rockabilly and roots flavoured performances will leave you coming back for more!

Jeanne has a few other tricks up her sleeve. Along with being an actor from a very young age, she has been writing music since she could talk. Her writing style varies from her rockabilly persona. In Jeanne’s original music, she blends Canadiana Indie sounds with her unique voice to create a modern pop sounding melody. She will soon be releasing music, so you will want to keep your eyes and ears on for new tunes coming your way! You don’t want to miss an opportunity to see her in action.

Jeanne will be playing the stage at 2:00PM on April 26th at the Quaker Park!

Warren Frank

A singer-songwriter from Kawartha Lakes, Ontario. Warren Frank is Gamekeeper. Best known for his time as the lead singer in indie outfits The Kents and Heaps, heard across Canada on national radio. As Gamekeeper, Frank’s voice and lyricism take centre stage as he explores a new chapter in songwriting.

Catch a live performance of Warren at 3PM on Saturday, April 26th at the Quaker Park!

Brooklyn Doran

Brooklyn (she/her) is a queer singer-songwriter originally from the heart of Northwestern Ontario, who has been a staple of the Canadian folk scene for over ten years. Doran’s unique sound weaves song and storytelling; the polarity between her music and personality create a harmonious blend of wit and humour contrasted by vulnerable lyricism and haunting melody.

Catch a live performance of Brooklyn at 4:00PM on Saturday, April 26th at the Quaker Park!

VANCAMP

VANCAMP crafts introspective, energetic, and earnest indie folk music. The project began in 2021, when singer/songwriter Calvin Bakelaar began crafting songs that blend folk storytelling with indie grit. Since then, VANCAMP has grown into something bigger—fun, experimental, and full of life. VANCAMP was named the Peterborough Folk Festival Emerging Artist of the Year, and you can stream the music anywhere or catch a show to experience it live.

Catch VANCAMP at 5:15PM on April 26th at the Quaker Park!
