Repair Cafe Peterborough is hosting an event on January 31 from 1–4 p.m. at Dreams of Beans (141 Charlotte St.).

The community is invited to enjoy a free afternoon of fixing, mending, and mingling. Attendees are encouraged to bring broken items—whether it’s a finicky toaster, a wobbly chair, or a ripped seam or hole in a favourite piece of clothing.

Repair Cafe Peterborough’s skilled volunteer repairers will do their best to bring new life to these items while helping participants learn how to make repairs themselves. The event is a great way to reduce waste, build new skills, and connect with the community.
