Circus in the Park
Saturday,July 25th from 9:30am–1:00pm, The Peterborough Academy of Circus Arts is hosting a family-friendly circus celebration in Millennium Park.It will include facilitated hands-on circus activities (juggling, hula hoop,etc), music, and nature-inspired performances with aerial and stilt characters. This event is supported by the DBIA and is intended to draw people to our vibrant downtown core, and celebrate it’s natural green space, as well as recognize PACA’s 10 year anniversary!
Festivities will include:
- Pop-up theatrical circus acts
- Ongoing roaming character acts with audience engagement and photo-ops
- Circus Playzone and workshops facilitated by PACA coaches (hula hoop, juggling,poi, flow stars, obstacle course, rope darts, staff)
- Tickle trunk with nature themed costumes for audiences to borrow
- Danceable, family friendly music will be played throughout by DJ Miss Moss
- PACA will also provide a health and safety tent with water, sunscreen and first aid.
