Founded in 1974, the AGP is a non-profit public gallery located on the shore of Little Lake. Dedicated to exhibiting and collecting visual art, the gallery highlights contemporary Canadian artists with a special focus on the Peterborough-Kawarthas region.
Committed to collaboration with local First Nation communities, the AGP honours the Otonabee River and strives to keep culture alive through active discourse and engagement.
As a gathering place for creativity and connection, the AGP offers exhibitions, educational programs, artist talks, and community panels that foster dialogue, exploration, and critical engagement in the visual arts.
