Kawartha Autumn Studio Tour
For one vibrant autumn weekend, participating artists open the doors to their working studios, welcoming visitors into the spaces where ideas take shape and materials transform into finished works. From painting and sculpture to ceramics, textiles, photography, and more, KAST offers a rare opportunity to experience art in the place where it is created. The Kawartha Autumn Studio Tour (KAST) is a signature initiative of the Art Gallery of Peterborough and has been presented by the Gallery since 1984. As one of the longest-running studio tours in Canada, it has become a much-anticipated cultural experience in the Peterborough–Kawarthas region.
The two-day Kawartha Autumn Studio Tour is self-driven, and admission is free.
Designed as a self-guided experience, KAST encourages visitors to create their own cultural road trip through the Peterborough-Kawarthas. Studios can be found in urban neighbourhoods, rural landscapes, and small towns alike, making the journey itself part of the experience.
Preview the outstanding quality, spirit, and variety of artists on the Studio Tour in the KAST Selections Exhibition at the Art Gallery of Peterborough. Featuring one work by each participating artist, you can check it out from now until October 4, 2026.
Map brochures are available for pick up at the gallery, or take the Kawartha Autumn Studio Tour on the go with the Toureka! App — available for download on the App Store and Google Play.
